All of us.Your job.Your kids.Your water.Your news feed.Your mind.AI is coming for all of it.And the people building it say they can’t control it.
The people building AI say it could end humanity. They say it in interviews, in open letters and in resignation posts. And they keep building it.

The idea behind it
It’s one problem
- A few companies are racing to build AI that is smarter than any of us.
- They admit they don’t know how to control it.
- Their own leaders say it could end humanity. Most people agree that is possible.
66% of Britons think AI could end human civilisation (YouGov, Sept 2026). 58% of Hungarians think extinction or similarly severe harm is likely (21 Kutatóközpont, Sept 2026). Half of Britons, and nearly half of French and Germans, would rather pause AI than keep going: 51%, 48% and 45% (POLITICO / Public First, Sept 2026).
What we want
The EU’s AI rules are made in the European Parliament. Your MEPs vote on them. Ask them to:
- Make sure the AI Act is enforced fully and on time, without being weakened.
- Support independent safety testing of the most powerful AI models before they are released.
- Push for international cooperation on AI safety.

Yes, we use AI too
That’s how we know what it can do. We are not against technology. We are against a handful of companies gambling with everyone’s future, without asking anyone.

- EN 18286 Readiness Check For companies that build or use high-risk AI. Answer plain-language questions about how you work and get a list of gaps against the EU AI Act’s quality standard. Runs in your browser; not legal advice.
Tool · For companies
- Mind the Interagent Gap What can go wrong when AI agents deal with each other (collusion, miscoordination, failures that cascade), and how much real-world evidence there is for each, linked to actual incidents. A work in progress.
Report · For researchers
- Takeoff: Europe’s Next Move A 15-minute browser game. You’re Europe’s AI envoy, picking a policy every half-year while the US and China race ahead. Your dashboards show how safe the AI looks; how safe it really was comes out at the end.
